Todd Paffrath is the president and owner of Paffrath and Son Jewelers, and has been with the family-run business since 1981. A graduate of Bemidji State University, Todd was a schoolteacher before joining his father in the jewelry business. A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Todd loves nothing more than taking a walk with his wife of nearly 45 years and visiting. In his off time, Todd enjoys hunting, boating, working on the farm, and fixing things. His trusted golden retriever, Hudson is a common companion during these activities also. His true passion is caring for his customers and his staff, and continuing the grand legacy started by his grandfather nearly 100 years ago.
Jeff Paffrath is our in-house goldsmith and jeweler and has a true talent for creating incredible custom jewelry designs. Jeff joined the store full-time in 2003 after graduating from Moorhead State University and has become widely sought for his skill. Even when he is not at the store “building” jewelry, he likes to build stuff in his spare time as well. For Jeff, family is key, as well as playing with his golden retriever, Drake. As a 4th generation member of the Paffrath Jewelry family, you can count on Jeff to give your old pieces new life, or come up with something totally new and unique.
Jackie Brown may not have been around when Paffrath was founded in 1926, however, she has earned the distinction of working for the Paffrath family for over 40 years. In fact, she is the longest-tenured employee and has worked in all aspects of the business. Though her title is office manager for Paffrath and Son Jewelers, she assumes many roles and is passionate about what she does. When she is not at the store, she loves to cook, and enjoys spending time with her husband Jim, her chihuahua Pancho, her family and her new granddaughter.
Amber Schueler wears many hats from an HR specialist by day and a dance teacher by night, But, that’s not all. She is also a dedicated sales associate with Paffrath and Son Jewelers. When she isn’t at work, she is with her husband and two daughters working around their home. She also has an awesome hobby, having collected over 75 coffee mugs and counting. Her enthusiasm for what she does make her well-loved by her customers, and she is devoted to helping them find their perfect pieces.
Connie Snyder has over 12 years of experience in the fine jewelry industry, however, she is far more multi-faceted than one may expect. Before jewelry, she was an accomplished lawyer, having operated an estate planning law firm with her husband Ryan. In her spare time, she is a big football fan and spends her weekends watching the NFL and playing with her kitties. Connie has worked as a sales associate with Paffrath and Son Jewelers since 2015.
Jacki Jensen is a sales associate with Paffrath and Son Jewelers and truly enjoys building relationships with her clients. Her favorite thing to do is spending time with her fiancé, Josh and her black lab named Jaxs McGee. Jacki loves to read lots of good books, doing arts and crafts, and has developed an especially green thumb as a gardener. She is especially skilled at helping her customers navigate the many options available and find their ideal jewelry pieces.
LuAnn Sogge’s dream job has always been to be a mom, a role she takes very seriously. Artistic by nature, LuAnn spends her spare time dabbling in art of any kind. With a creative eye, she enjoys working with her clients to pick out those perfect pieces. A long-time sales associate with Paffrath and Son Jewelers, LuAnn is young at heart and enjoys good food, laughter, and a glass of wine to unwind. Family is hugely important to her, and she enjoys spending as much time with them as possible.
Betty has been part of our team for four years. She brings experience from her previous work in optical retail and now contributes part-time, specializing in sales and customer service. Betty has a long-standing connection to Paffrath’s; she and her husband Rod purchased their wedding rings here in 1978 and have been loyal customers ever since. Outside of work, Betty enjoys crafting and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Lauren has been with Paffrath’s for two years and plays a versatile role across the store. From sales and service to behind-the-scenes support, she’s involved in a bit of everything and brings a positive energy to each task. Outside of work, Lauren runs her own pet-sitting business and takes pride in caring for the animals. She enjoys listening to music, golfing, and spending quality time with family and friends. Her dog Rubble is a constant companion and a big part of her life.
Amy has been with Paffrath’s for ten years and is a key part of our team. She specializes in customer service and sales, and is the go-to person for anything involving technology. Her ability to support both co-workers and customers makes her an essential part of daily operations. Outside of work, Amy enjoys spending time with her two daughters and being outdoors. She especially loves relaxing at the lake and enjoying nature. When she’s not outside, Amy enjoys spending time in the kitchen, where she finds joy in cooking and creating meals for her family.
